Dementia Unit
Interesting facts about House Ina Rens:

Huis Ina Rens offers accommodation to 12 people living with Dementia. There are three single rooms, three double rooms and one 3-bed room.

There are currently 16 caregivers, 3 general assistants, 3 supervisors and the Head (qualified Social Worker), working at Huis Ina Rens.

The atmosphere in the house is unique, relaxed and homely. Residents are offered the opportunity and support to participate in familiar household activities on a daily basis, e.g.

There is a weekly activity program that is presented in a person-centered manner. Activities include:

The multisensory garden around House Ina Rens was planted as a community project with plants/herbs that smell good, feel good and taste good, and is maintained by the garden committee of Huis Vergenoegd.

At Huis Vergenoegd, our care team is committed to professional, dignified and person-centerer care, where each resident's safety, well-being and quality of life remain our highest priority.
Care Center and Care Services
The centre is headed by the Head of the Care Centre, who is supported by an administrative officer. Together they ensure effective management, adherence to procedures and the smooth functioning of all care services.
The care center:
The Care Centre is the heart of Huis Vergenoegd. It is here that residents who can no longer fully care for themselves find peace, safety and professional support within an environment of 24-hour care.

Operates with three senior staff members during the day and one senior staff member during the night.

Ten caregivers during the day and five caregivers during the night.

These teams work together to provide constant supervision, safe care, and timely support to all residents.

Cleaning and Support teams.

Two dedicated cleaning teams ensure that the care unit remains neat, hygienic and safe during the day. These teams also provide support with food service, which contributes to an orderly and pleasant living environment.

The Care Centre has a ward secretary who handles all calls and basic administrative tasks, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

Person-centered Care Team (POD Services):

Our care services are delivered by a dedicated and excellent team that is structured to ensure continuous care, supervision and support.

The service delivery is covered by separate day and night teams, as well as a person-centerer team that provides support to residents in the residential units when they need assistance.

The person-centred team consists of one senior staff member and two caregivers. This team focuses specifically on residents in the residential units and provides targeted assistance where residents can no longer function completely independently.

Assistance is provided with an emphasis on maintaining dignity and independence.

Assistance during showering or washing.

Washing dishes, making beds, taking meals, grooming services.

Walk or push to the hair salon or dining hall.

Nail and foot care
